Face Painting & Balloon Twisting for Our Friends with Special Needs

10336685_702072183182977_8243590304536278714_nKaleidoscope knows all families are different, and some need more than others! Just like we have face painting and balloon twisting packages of all shapes and sizes, we have also begun working with artists who can help meet the needs of your family or guests.

Here are a few options:

  • Need an artist that can sign ASL? Our face painter Shannon is fluent in ASL after a lifetime growing up with deaf parents. We can send Anne with any of our other artists as an assistant face painter, or she can come entertain by herself as a face painter, balloon twister, or with glitter tattoos. Anne lives in West Hartford, CT so she may have a travel fee if you’re out of the Central Connecticut area. We can also take and give all of our quotes via email so you don’t have to worry about any phone translating services.
  • Need an artist that can help with learning-disabled children or kids across the autism spectrum? Susanna is a former Special Ed teacher and a mother to a girl with ASD. She would love to be your balloon twister and face painter–just ask to request her! Susanna lives in Boston, MA so a travel fee may apply to outside her area. Kenny the Clown is a certified art teacher and has hands-on teaching experience with learning-disabled students. His clown act includes balloon twisting, gags, jokes, and a touch of magic.Kenny is based in Cromwell, CT so a travel fee may apply outside his area.
  • Need an artist who speaks Spanish? Kenny the Clown was born and raised in Central Connecticut, but comes from an awesome Puerto Rican and Irish family. Kenny can twist balloons and entertain everyone at your party, whether they speak English or Spanish or both!Kenny is based in Cromwell, CT so a travel fee may apply outside his area.
  • We have the highest standards for all of our artists. By the end of 2017, all of Kaleidoscope’s artists will have gone through training to better serve children across the autisms spectrum. Our goal is to help better serve all of our clients, no matter who they are!
